I worked on rebranding and redesigning this software’s UI with a focus on clarity, consistency, and usability. My goal was to create a design system that not only looked fresh and modern but also made the interface easier to use and scale. From refining colors and typography to building reusable components, this project was about turning a scattered design into a cohesive, user-friendly experience.
challenge.
One of the main challenges in this project was creating a design system that balanced brand identity with usability. The previous interface lacked consistency, so I had to rethink how typography, color, and layout could work together in a more structured way.
Another unique challenge was designing for lenticular displays, which required a completely different approach to UI. Unlike standard screens, lenticular technology introduces depth and layered visuals, so I had to carefully consider how elements would appear in motion and from different viewing angles. This meant reworking visual hierarchy, contrast, and spacing to ensure the interface remained clear and functional while still taking advantage of the display’s 3D qualities.
results.
The redesigned interface and design system were successfully implemented and later adapted by Acer and Asus for their products. By refining the visual identity and creating a scalable system, the UI not only improved usability but also provided a flexible foundation that could be tailored to different brand ecosystems. Seeing the designs adopted by major hardware manufacturers validated the approach and showed the impact of combining strong branding with functional interface design.
